It amuses me greatly that both replies to this post responded as if Bill was talking about "X" the windowing system rather than a placeholder variable.
Should've used $X.
I have not seen any AIDS patients growing on trees so this should not be an issue.
Low level RF has the same emission pattern as a lit cigarette. At 50 yards the heat won't burn you. At 5 feet the heat won't burn you. Place one in your lap, the test results may be different than the government claims. I'm fine with WiFi in a laptop computer. The antennas are at the top edge of the lid. A cell phone in your pocket or a tablet pasted against your head does not have this 5+ inches of seperation.
If you're going to get pedantic about statistics, you should really get to know your friendly neighborhood Margin of Error. Often ignored in fluff pieces, being aware of his existence is still vital.
I wasn't speaking about the copyright issue. The question was "how were they reconstructed without the video?"
The methods I've seen have been mostly "slideshows" with audio tracks, and very rarely, someone recreating the video in an animated form.
Why single out Microsoft? Many multinational corporations have overseas divisions and not all income is brought home to be taxed, then sent back abroad to pay the workforce.
How smart you are depends on whose Kitchen you are standing in at the time. Sub Shop for kitchen and you get the idea. Put a BBQ chef in a bakery and watch the failure.
A movie I really enjoyed about not telling students how good they are is "The Paper Chase" A student feels pressure to not flunk out as a failure. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt00... Older film, great drama.

I'll have to remember that little quip the next time someone's complaining about "women-hostile conditions in the $X industry."
True,
But in semiconductor manufacturing, Lead is contamination. EDX of the sample shows it to be Pb free. All Copper Sulfate indicates Lead. The testing kit instructions clearly state this is normal for the kit.
It's like asking a random "Christian" to justify and explain Westboro Baptist's behavior because they both think of themselves as "Christian" despite that term meaning vastly different things.
Close, but not quite. The difference is that "the assholes" in your example (WBC) aren't the only one setting dogma. Using the same metaphor, it's closer to you objecting to having "believing in the divinity of Christ" held against you, even though you don't, and you feel that calling yourself "Christian" just means "Being a decent person"
Feminism is not (just) a "philosophy", it's a proselytizing ideology: the goal is to bring people into their way of thinking, and that means that the way it's presented trumps dictionary definitions, trumps NAFALT, and trumps personal gnosis on what "feminism means". And as far as presentation goes, sorry, but the "assholes" are ruling that particular roost. "Mainstream" and/or "media" feminism is spawned in pits like Jezebel now, and I don't think anyone needs to be told how that sort of lot deals with being called on their bullshit.
So no, I don't think it's unreasonable at all, when someone claims the moniker of "feminism", to hold their tacit complicity against them.
My questions are thus... why not move to a model where the entire OS is forced through the tor proxy, This could be done with the use of a dummy network adapter and disabling the current adapter while tor is in use. Yes it would likely break certain OS features during that time, but there it is.
This is a bit like plugging a power strip into itself. It might seem self evident why that should work, but alas, it does not.
How do you think TOR communicates with the Internet at large, if not using the OS network stack? And if you coopt that stack, how, pray tell, do you expect TOR to be able to communicate with the TOR nodes?
I'm wondering how much is a false detection for a similar chemical, or as the result of another chemical reaction. At work our Lead detection kits respond the same to Copper. This has led to missdiagnosis in copper plating.
Chlorinated hydrocarbons abound in the environment. Could this be by products of burning recycled PC parts and old monitors and wire. The copper and other metals theft and recycling may be the cause.
I suspect the e-readers are more likely to be time pressed people who multitask alot often skimming for important points where readers of paper editions tend to close out distractions and read the full text without jumping about looking at key events in random order. E book manual owners tend to read them the same way I read the National Electrical Code going to revelant sections to answer specific questions. Other than the numbered chapters sections of the code, I would have had difficulting knowing if Hospital Isolated Ground requirements came before or after the section of low voltage wires in an elevator access shaft.
