Also note GOG games are ancient(although I do love them), Steam not only has modern games but massively discounts those games and its DRM is mild. Once youve downloaded the game from steam you can switch to offline mode and never contact steam again. If Valve dies switch to offline mode. Steam also supports independent software developers and charities with humble bundle(I had already bought half the games in the bundle so steam lets me gift the codes to someone else).

The internment of Japanese-Americans was immoral and unnecessary, the use of census information in wartime to track enemy aliens was less problematic than the internment of Japanese-Americans who were American citizens. The law allowing the use of the census data was passed in 1942 and repealed in 1947.

However, Sherman had every legal right to get census data on farmland (not persons) in any even he used information from state of georgia quoting sherman
"I had obtained not only the United States census-tables of 1860," Sherman wrote in his Memoirs, "but a compilation made by the Controller of the State of Georgia for the purpose of taxation, containing in considerable detail the 'population and statistics' of every county in Georgia" (Sherman)."

Compared with Larry Ellison...Bill Gates is Mahatma Gandhi.

"A few months ago, a female ex-employee with whom Ellison had had an affair launched a lawsuit in which she alleged that he tempted several female employees into bed with the offer of an Acura sports car. Ellison claimed the offer was a joke but, when questioned, admitted that he had bought four Acuras in the previous year."
