A simple compromise is the individual should be allowed to own the same arms that are standard issue to the army infantry. This would mean that M-16/AR-15 should be legal but not fully automatic versions (as infantry soldiers do not get full auto M-16s). So no tanks nor nukes nor RPGs etc.

I suggest you look into how many top officers (colonel or higher) have been purged for the military in the past 5 years. To start with, look at who's been purged as a result of Benghazi (hint, it's not the people who screwed up, but the people who wanted to rescue our personnel).

When you say you have a right to health care, what you are really saying is you have a right to someones labor (either directly from a doctor or indirectly via someone taxes). To provide that direct labor will eventually require some sort of conscription/indentured servitude of medical personal. Remember, the fed now controls the student loans. Want to become a doctor? You must work for the fed where they tell you to go.

I had a Palm Pre (and have a Touchpad running CM10) and thats the one thing I really miss on my Samsung devices. I'm surprised its taken so long for this to catch on with other devices.
