Sorry, the 1% of the non-voters who are making a principled stand are dwarfed by the 99% of the non-voters who: 1. forgot, 2. were too busy watching Desperate Housewives of Bumfuck Wherever or 3. can't read or write. You may think your lack of participation is registering as a vote of "no confidence" but to the politicians you're just another non-entity.

Nothing makes these corrupt politicians happier than you not voting. You're not making a stand; you're just making it easier for them to do what their doing.

I'd like to second this question... anyone out there had early access to the Inkling? I'm looking for a solution that's not handwriting recognition, but simply records handwriting to a vector file. Inkling looks like a solution but the roll out keeps getting delayed...

Credit Unions have agreements with other CUs. I live 3000 miles from my CU but I have no trouble using local CU ATMs to deposit checks. The website for your CU should have a map of all the ATMs in your area that allow for deposits.

Ethanol-fueld might overstate the case, slightly, but are you saying the FBI doesn't use criminal snitches? Are you claiming that snitches don't have motivation to manufacture stories when their actual value starts to dry up? Are you sure that the FBI doesn't draw a very blurry distinction between internet blow-hards, entrapment and actual criminal plots? Are you implying that the current level of FOX/MSNBC news coverage actually does do in-depth investigations of claims by government?

This is the fundamental problem. When interviewing a senior developer, the hardest thing to do is determine if the candidate has 10 years of experience like it says on their resume, or do they have 1 year of experience ten times.

Here's my list of desires from a new employee:
1. enthusiasm (younger people often win here)
2. experience (older people often win here, caveated by the statement above)
3. humility (depends on the person)
4. work ethic (also depends on the person)

So, 50% of the criteria for a new employee is not age related.

Last time I looked into this it seemed like CCR (continuity of care record) was becoming the document standard for these records but the VA already had a system that did not use that document format. Has the industry / government settled on a document standard for (textual) medical records yet?

Scanning through the threads, I've read at least a half-dozen cowards all spouting the same nonsense: politicians are all corrupt, don't bother to do anything, being cynical is cool, corporations are a monolith that all believe the same thing and have an iron grip on our democracy. If you really believe this, why not sign your name? Afraid the corporate interests are going to track you down and give you an award for successful promotion of FUD?
