To retrieve the last generated id by a database insert, you can use mysql_insert_id for MySql and @@identity for MS SQL server.
I'm using a `normal' network card, and a wireless one. I was wondering if I could persuade Windows to use the wireless card for one range of ip-adresses, and the normal card for all the rest.

Since my TCP/IP experiments with FreeDOS were not that successfull (could not get clients to work), I upgraded to (brr!) Windows 3.11. The Kotnet page on TCP/IP for Windows 3.11 turned out to be very useful.
I managed to install TCP/IP networking on an old 386 computer with 4MB of memory and a 3Com Etherlink III ISA nic. You need Microsoft's Network Client for MS-DOS, and an example of tcputils.ini is helpful to make DNS work.
