I disagree to an extent. In high school the councilor gave us a little booklet with a list of careers, what they do, the education requirements, and typical pay. I went through that highest paying jobs until I found one I would like. There are plenty of lower paying jobs I would have found more fun, but I'm having a lot more fun outside of work with all the money I'm getting, and I will be able to retire a lot earlier.

The full story is that car makers drastically cut back their chip orders when COVID started because they thought there would be less demand for new cars. But it ended up there wasn't less demand and it's too late to order more. They can't just order more on demand because everyone else already paid for the rest of the production for their own chips.

The car makers try to spin it like they aren't getting what they paid for, but they're getting exactly what they paid for. it was poor planning on their own part.

On PSVR or the Quest 2? The Quest 2 is much, much higher resolution than the PSVR headset. The Quest 2 was the first headset I used where the pixel density is high enough that it's usable for me. I have 20-10 vision and everything else I've used before was just too annoying. On the Quest 2 I don't notice the screen door effect unless I specifically look for it. Yeah the resolution could use a further improvement, but it's definitely good enough to be a good experience and ready to make VR mainstream. Which is seems to be doing because there's a crazy amount of them being sold.

It isn't just multibillion dollar companies making apps and games.
There are a lot of companies and individuals that sell apps and games that would be able to take the extra profit and actually survive instead of going out of business, be able to invest more into their next game, make a more niche game that wouldn't turn a profit under the current cut, etc. Those are all things that end up benefiting consumers.

And Epic actually did lower their prices for every other payment option but Apple's.
