I don't see why twitter would be able to track you from the "tweet this page" feature. I mean, no doubt they supply an optional JS tracking system, but tweet this page functionality doesn't touch twitter's servers unless interacted with. Or do you mean they'll track the pages you tweet when you publicly tweet them?

Apparently it's just a fact: privacy is a totally foreign concept to the people of this generation:

Which generation? Gen X? Is this just a general "boo young people" while ignoring it's just the new trend that older people are more likely to hop on?

Like, do you think people just stop adopting technology at 30 so all new tech is only young people?

They had been working on mRNA vaccines for literal decades. Some of the lead scientists were pushed out of the scientific consensus and had to claw for funding while working for those years. I imagine at least one Nobel Prize for at least one year is going to mRNA vaccine pioneers.

No. I'd say about 33% of people signed up as soon as they were able (normal), 33% refuse to get the shot (not selfish, because the shot is free and everyone should protect themselves), and 33% just won't go out of their way (just lazy). The remaining 1% is the complete individualistic - they're the people who lied to get the shots early.

Whether intended to be serious or satire, it seems to really misrepresent the state of vaccinations. The people who were willing to go out of their way to sign up/travel to a site are already vaccinated. Now the big gains isn't with external benefits - it's making the experience frictionfree. The best program lately was the buffalo health department going into bars with shots and offering to buy a drink if you got vaccinated. They had experts there to answer questions, but it turns out the problem now is the 1/3 of the population willing to get a shot if it's literally in front of them but not go out of their way for it.

So in the interests of better communication, which we really do need, what are the country people preventing you from doing?

I have a lot of examples, but the most recent one I saw was a bunch of rural representatives blocking a law banning non-compete agreements. I can see why they care so much, a lot of farmhands really need that freedom to not bring milking secrets a few miles down the road. It couldn't be just because it makes people in city's lives worse.

I'm not keeping my mask on to protect anti-vaxxers/anti-maskers. First and foremost, I'm doing it because the people quickest to ditch the masks are the anti-vaxxers/anti-maskers. I want them to be forced to continue to wear their masks. I also don't want to have to prove I'm vaccinated all the time. So I want everyone to continue to wear their mask.
