GitHub should automatically create GitHub-managed forks of high-profile public projects. If the actual project goes poof, interested parties can simply fork the GitHub-managed version to their own account.

Doubtful, even *IF* the GOP reclaims a House majority, which is itself doubtful.

As someone who's actually a proponent of higher education, all I have to say is "good". There are tons of universities and colleges out there that cost an arm and a leg but only have modest signaling strength.

Discord has 14M DAUs.

Seems like Discord should compete with Slack more than it does. Different demographic and focus area, but the tech is very similar. Seems like they could make a "corporate version" of Discord and compete directly with Slack.

I don't see that there's a "should" here. It will die or not die as the market dictates. Just saying: I still find value in it.

I'm an old person, but I still use Facebook. I end up having fairly intellectual conversations with people I went to high school with (and others). There's a solid set of maybe 30 people that make up 90% of my interactions (not all, or even most, from high school).

Two thoughts:

1. Misogyny isn't narrowly defined as "hating the other gender", and
2. What I was attempting to imply is that there's a high degree of overlap between people who complain about feminists / feminism and misogyny, not that those who complain about about feminists / feminism are misogynists because of that complaint per se.

How about on shitty misogynists instead?
