They are comparing a global economy (Apps) to a local US market.
If you want to make an Apples to apples comparison (pun intended) when talking about jobs, you'd have to take into account all of the jobs created by European, Bollywood, etc. film industry.

Sufficiently intelligent beings who have learned to travel faster than the speed of light would be totally uninterested in visiting low life forms such as humans.
How do you know that? Maybe they'd be interested in us the same way anthropologists are interested in "less developed" cultures. Perhaps they would be interested in seeing the path we have taken to arrive at our current technological state to see how it compares to their own. Or maybe they'd just want to collect some of us for their intergalactic zoo.
Everything historical would suddenly have some alien connection.

Anything Schumer brews up won't be limited to White House airspace. It'll probably make it so you have to get a license from the FAA in order to fly a quadcopter in your yard. And in order to get a license, you'll need 20+ hours of training from a certified training facility, pass an FBI background check, etc.

I just got a 2015 Ford Explorer, and that's exactly right. I was actually shocked at how quiet it is when it's idling, and how throaty it gets when I hit the gas to pass someone.
You are comparing students who clearly are there just to get the credit for whatever reason and not pursuing CompSci as a degree to students who are majoring in it. Presumably people who want to learn to code are not just there to show up and retain their Pell grants. I am reading this as a false equivalence logical fallacy. It's also a very negative perspective on the untapped potential of today's youth.
Nobody takes my Java course who *isn't* a Computer Science or Computer Information System major. I don't have business or English lit majors taking my courses. I know this because I have them fill out a survey on the first day, so no, it's not a false equivalence fallacy. But if I were you, I'd have a look at a different fallacy before constructing my arguments.

No, you don't understand my argument at all. Rather it sounds like you're purposely being obtuse about the whole matter, and your opinions are tainted by class envy rather than concern for the individuals. You aren't doing anyone a favor trying to force them to be something they don't want to be simply because it makes you feel good.
