Maybe it should be their responsibility to help the guy. The badges (in L.A. at least) read "To protect and serve", maybe we'd have a better society if they took the "serve" portion a little more seriously. Someone postulated a homeless guy stealing to feed his family, perhaps the government programs aren't available to him? For whatever reason? Why do you think that mission type churches exist and need to feed the hungry? It is because the government isn't stepping up to take care of the needy. Problem solved by taking his kids away and putting them into the system? Because life is so good in orphanages and foster homes? Kids love their parents, and need to be near them, breaking them apart does nothing but harm and likely will result in even more crimes as now bitter kids turn to a life of crime as they grow up in a cold heartless world. Not your problem though right? So long as you've got yours, let the poorer take care of each other.

Interesting, what these terms might reveal. Does the maximum rental days imply that a movie or game is only good for 21 rental events before it needs to be retired? If not, what is driving the 21 day figure? Is it their lease arrangement with movie/media providers? Just wondering...

I too agree that a homeless guy stealing to food to feed his family should not be arrested. What's more, the cops should figure out a way to get him at least a few menial jobs where he is paid in food so he can feed his family without having to resort to stealing. Are you so lacking in humanity that you can't imagine a desperate person doing "bad" things to feed his children. Believe you me that if you ever have children and are faced with their pleas for food you will do everything in your power (legal and extra-legal) to assuage their pain. Or you will shoot yourself for being an utter failure at life if you can't provide somehow.

I think being that you have apparently zero experience with a professional graphical language like labview, you should refrain from what it takes to program in a graphical language. I am sure you are an excellent C/C++ and/or Java and/or Python programmer but, your comments regarding graphical programming point to a fundamental lack of knowledge on the topic. Spend a couple of years with it, suffer through the pain like you did to learn C, then come back and let us know how cool graphical programming is and how you can do just about anything with it and faster than with text. You will arrive at that point if you earnestly strive to become better at it, or you could gripe and not put in the effort required to become good at it.

hmm, or maybe it's because you don't have enough experience in LabVIEW to program it properly using paradigms appropriate to the language? LV is a fine tool and it is easy to hack out nasty looking stuff in it. It is also possible but requires more experience to crank out nicely architected code that is easy to understand, same as in C, C++, Java, etc. It is a poor craftsman that blames his tools is how the saying goes, right?

1. It seems like zoom would be nice but it makes no sense if you think about how labview is supposed to work. You aren't supposed to cram a bunch of ever smaller wires into an ever smaller space. No. You're supposed to create subVIs out of code that has gotten over-crowded and complex, think functions. That is in effect zoom functionality. However, if the problem is that the icons and wires are too small for you to resolve, then use the OS's zoom functionality, or change the resolution of your screen.
2. Wire labels are a new feature, I think as of LV2013, however, I get along fine by putting labels near when needed or from looking at what outputs and inputs are called. Bundle-by-name and Unbundle-by-name go a long way where applicable.
3. You don't have enough experience with LV, also turn on context help (ctrl-h) and when you hover over icons, their description will come up.
4. You don't have enough experience with LV. Also, turn off autowiring, run wires by hand, autowiring is very annoying to me.
