Couldn't they do it the same way that lots of places handle pets: "Service" vans allowed. I.e. if you are actually in a wheelchair, you may park your van. But healthy users may not. And having a small dick doesn't count as a handicap, so all oversized SUVs or pickup trucks keep out as well :-).

Termux, for example.

that I want to have? Specifically?

We might be in "true Scotsman" territory here. Indeed, a user wanting termux might not buy an iPhone in the first place, as he would probably know about Apple's policy so far when making his purchasing decision.

It seems to accept Unicode, but internally converts it to ISO-Latin-9 (ISO-8859-15, i.e. Western Europe with Euro). Any character not in ISO-Latin-9 is dropped. Oddly enough, some characters which actually are in ISO-Latin-9, such as the cent currency symbol, or the inverted i are dropped as well. Weird.

Which symbol would that be?

Most common ones are supported: €, £, ¥ and even $.

And, if you are a cheapstake, even is supported :-)

But, for God's sake, please stop drooling on your keyboard when you type, it makes you look sloppy.
