The so-called Constitutionalists and Libertarians are merely shills for their big business masters, who also control the Democrats.

That's a standard mantra of people who would never vote outside the two main parties because they have accepted the lie that a third party is not viable because they are all controlled by businesses. Both the DNC and ghe GOP are the shills for business. Haven't you been paying attention?

You make a good slave.

some of the best software engineers in the country.

I worked at google at the time they were hiring kids right out of college like crazy. I'm an older system administrator with a couple of decades of experience. What I saw was the highest concentration of idiots with advanced degrees in the entire world. Sure, lots of classroom knowledge, but very little real world experience combined with a touch of arrogance.

I would hope that has changed with a few years of experience.

One of the problems of a line item veto is it would allow the president to veto just the funding portion of a bill that is too popular to reject outright. That would effectively kill any ability to enforce the new law.

I'm all for a constitutional amendment that would require all passages of a proposed bill to be relevant to the bill as a whole. So no highway funding bills that outlaw abortion, etc.

Nope. I can't eat the $1 crap from McDonald's. It makes me nauseous. I prefer spending about five bucks at Five Guys or In-N-Out. The $15 premium burger is damn good, but that means a trip into The City (San Francisco), and if I'm going through that much trouble for dinner I would rather eat at my favorite French bistro.
