No need to refute anything.
Your ignorance and ridiculousness is self evident, even though you try to hide behind your credentials.
All you have done is to make yourself immune to facts, wrapped in your self-righteous arrogance.
The kind of PTSD being treated in veterans requires a bunch of support.
Proper medications to bring someone down from a place they are no longer able to progress. That means a doctor on hand. Not cheap.
Personnel to interface with the patient in a constructive manner while under the influence. A qualified.mental health professional, not cheap.
Sitters of commensurate number and physical prowess to be able to safely restrain a military veteran, not cheap.
A place of sufficient safety and controlled environment for said individuals to feel comfortable. Also not cheap.
The people taking advantage of these services are not your average everyday people trying psychedelics. They could be, but if you look and read what they are up to, they are taking on the hard cases that require extraordinary efforts. Not cheap.
I am terrified of your position and your callousness and inability to understand other people's pain, and what it takes to make sure they and everyone around them is safe through the process.
That you point to your credentials while being so completely uncaring and unwilling to see from the perspective of the patients is proof of how you have let your position and education stand where humility and compassion should be.
Gross.
