Juniper uses FreeBSD as its OS? NetApp uses FreeBSD (or at least a heavily customized version of it.)

Not everyone has gone with Linux but I suppose the majority have. Still, as long as its Unix embedded and not something crazy like Windows...

Is there any way to disable slashdots incredibly annoying autorefresh?

Firstly, all day long I see a stupid spinning wheel on my tab bar in chrome because of slashdots autorefresh. I know its not refreshing constantly, but for some reason chrome shows the spinning wheel constantly even when its not refreshing. I assume because theres an autorefresh timer ticking down? Either way, its ANNOYING AS HELL.

Secondly, the autorefresh tends to ALWAYS happen while i'm reading some article halfway down the page and then the page clears and reloads and I lose my spot. THIS IS ANNOYING AS HELL.

I really do not want to have to use plugins or javascript hacks. This should be an option that can be enabled/disabled in user preferences on slashdot.

I only work 37.5hrs a week (standard in Australia or New Zealand for fulltime employment) and I still don't have anywhere near enough time to do all the things I try to do. Maybe I just have too many hoobies and addictions (gaming).

When I was unemployed for 2-3 months I had so much free time and loved every second of it. It takes a couple weeks to adjust to so much free time but you will.

There is, I recently upgraded me Alienware M17xR2 from 4870M in crossfire setup with a single 7970M.

Its not dell supported to install the 7970M but it works perfectly.

Um all sorts of AirCards, USB 3G dongles, etc can be made to make and recieve calls.

All the Huwaei 3G usb modems that are sold by telco's here in Aus/NZ i've managed to get to make and recieve calls. (Yeah you need to use a USB headset or something, but you already do for skype and voip.)

Is there any point to it? I don't know, but you can.

Just like most tablets can be made to make/receive phone calls even though they aren't considered phones by the law.
