Our options are:
Cox Cable
Dial-up
We are too far from the central office for any kind of DSL from qwest. Can the wireless carriers be considered ISP's at this point? I do occasionally use the Mobile Hotspot option on my Palm Pre Plus, but would never consider it as a primary home connection.

Is that a toner cartridge in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?
From the linked article, "Ever since the introduction of online gaming 10 years ago with the Dreamcast (Yes, I still love it) it has become a staple of many games on consoles, and PCs."
wait, what?
Can you give us more detail on what you mean by Chrome being "subversive"?
They simply 'vent with flame'.
That just means that it is a SMALL explosion, not that it isn't an explosion.
I believe how you first think about the term "Heavens Gate" may have to do with how old you are. I instantly knew what the poster was talking about in reference to heavens gate being a bomb of a movie. Then again, I remember when the movie Heavens Gate was released, and then reading about what a bomb it was. For those younger than me, 43, the term has a different meaning.
Did I not call this one back in june?
What was the last Verizon exclusive phone?
As far as Palm goes, I've had to wait for Sprint exclusivity deals to end in order to get the Centro. Now I'm waiting for the Pre exclusivity on Sprint to end in order to get one from Verizon.

It's ANARCHY!!!!
Apple can introduce any emulator they want on the iPhone. This won't kill the Palm or the Pre. Why? For the same reason I currently don't have an iPhone. I'm a Verizon customer. When will I be able to get the iPhone on Verizon? Who knows? Now with the Pre, who cares? As the history of the Centro shows, I should be able to pick up a Verizon Pre at the end of my current contract in 2010. At that point, how many Pre apps will be available? How may ways will we be able to jailbreak the Pre and get full use out of it?
If Apple is able to offer the iPhone on more than one network by 2010, they may just take over the U.S. market for smartphones. I don't see that happening, so the Pre and it's kind will always be an option.
