We're talking about politics here. It's all unfair. You think Merrick Garland got treated fairly? And regardless of the fact that there's no evidence, her story certainly seems on the surface to be credible while his version looks weak. It's a popularity contest and Kavanaugh is losing it. They need to abandon this guy and find someone who isn't so badly tainted.

Um, no it's not. The problems you describe are issues with constantly changing hardware. Windows supports more hardware because hardware manufacturers and Microsoft have small armies of programmers to make sure the consumer doesn't have to think about anything...including the spyware they installed.
That's one of the reasons there is so much joint animosity against the current President, he's actually trying is damnedest to keep his campaign promises and that is a threat to the permanent politician class.
Indeed, when I think of Donald Trump I think of a man who keeps his promises. A paragon of virtue right there. Quite a catch.
