Yeah nah. I work in an industrial setting were it routinely soars over 120F. I learned pretty quick AC is a crutch that degrades quality of life in many aspects. People should be acclimating in spring. 120F is still hot and yes, uncomfortable but completely manageable during my work hours. I run midday during 30-35C sunny Idaho days. Summer QoL is way up now that I've severely curtailed my use of AC and it works during winter as well, acclimate and you'll be much more comfortable throughout the year.
Most humans can acclimate to about 105-120 depending on physiology, it's just a matter of being mildly uncomfortable for a few weeks early in the year so your not brought to your knees as summer peaks. Imagine how much power would be saved if people could get by with fans and only use AC at night for comfortable sleep? But no one wants mild discomfort even if their predilection might later kill them during a power outage or heat wave. But it's par for the course as no one wants to walk the walk in terms of conservation. They want laws and decrees or magic solutions not simple lifestyle changes.
