That and the Conservatives have been trained (by the media, and churches that have seem to forget the teachings of Jesus) to believe that all LiBeRaLs are out to get them. So any source that comes from a non-conservative group must be lying to them.

No, Conservatives recognize the phenomena of Regulatory Capture and notice how these vaccines were rushed to production while any inquiry into alternatives was shut down. Conservatives also know that the FDA has a spotty safety record on approved drugs. I thought "LiBeRaLs" were against having their lives run by greedy, unaccountable oligarchs? Why the sudden change?
Beware, the following is from a formerly "LiBeRaL" higher education website!

The evil governments keep hiding the inexpensive drugs that cure us of everything, all so that they can get their vaccine microchips implanted in us! So my neighbor's middle school son, who's really smart, has a science fair project that shows how baking soda will cure cancer! Why are they covering this up??

Geeze, how pathetic! I remember the days when Lefties like you actually cared about Regulatory Capture and lamented it's effects. Now when Conservatives agree, you're like a vampire exposed to garlic.

Comment What is *Your* Covid Vax Risk? (Score 1) 600

There isn't 1 person in 1,000 of the general population that can tell you what their risk of dying from a Covid vax is.
Hint: It isn't the 0.0018% number that the CDC flogs. That is the overall risk of the general population. There are risk factors that substantially increase an individual's risk, perhaps even up to 100% when multiple factors are found together.
If you don't know what those risks are, you probably shouldn't get vaxxed, especially with all the treatments and preventatives available. Just taking quercetin can lower your chances of even contracting Covid by up to 92% with zero risk of death from the quercetin. https://c19quercetin.com/

There's about a dozen other treatments/prophylactics and if you aren't taking one, you probably want to kill grandma and feed the corporatist machine.

I am no anti-vaxxer but you never want the government deciding what is misinformation and what isn't. You may be cool with it now, but if (actually "when," not if) the government shifts they may not like what you say.

Especially when the government has been actively suppressing effective alternative treatments and prophylactics.

When the news suggests vaccines are unsafe based on no evidence and your family member listens to that advice and dies, that should be an open and shut wrongful death suit as surely as that girl who convinced her boyfriend to commit suicide for laughs. This is no different, its a bad actor convincing someone else to hurt themselves for their benefit. That girl was found guilty, so should everyone else peddling garbage as truth.

I totally agree. Doctors and hospitals should face 7-figure lawsuits for withholding proven treatments, like Ivermectin, from Covid victims.

Comment Re: Kiss the 1st goodbye (Score 1, Interesting) 282

The sine qua non of Republicanism is that government doesn't work. So they can throw a monkey wrench into the system, and when it fails, say, "See, we told you that government doesn't work!"

The Democrats can't do that. They have no choice but to act like adults.

The Democrats are a bunch of vipers - they promote vice and then point at the wreckage they caused and say "See, we need another program or more spending to fix that problem".
No fault divorce is a great example.
