smitty_one_each's Journal: So, Veterans Can Drop Dead, But Pandering To Amnesty Crowd Is Cool 17

Journal by smitty_one_each
After punishing WWII veterans by arbitrarily denying them access to the WWII memorial, we get this noise:
OBAMA ADMIN WILL ALLOW AMNESTY RALLY ON NATIONAL MALL DURING GOV'T SHUTDOWN
Even if you're not the one being kicked in the naughty bits here, do understand: this rule by fiat instead of law just means it's not your turn yet.

  • ...I saw the veterans on TV being allowed in.

  • Smitty, you're big on honor, and truth and eternal principles.

Has one single WWII veteran been prevented from visiting the memorial since the shutdown began? Were any of the Honor Flight veterans kept from their Memorial? This story about "veterans dropping dead", I understand that it's just a figment of the Right's demonic dishonesty, but I'm surprised to hear it coming from you.

If supporting your agenda requires you to set aside your most cherished principles, maybe you need to think about what you're

Now, are you playing games with the number (it was far higher than one) or pretending that the use of the question mark means that the facts are unclear?

You are asserting that there were any veterans who were prevented from visiting the memorial?

It's simply not true. Every Honor Flight vet who has gone to Washington DC in the past months has been able to visit the memorial. If you can find any evidence otherwise, please share it.

Following the example set on Tuesday by a group of fellow veterans from Mississippi, World War II "honor flights" from Missouri, Illinois and Michigan entered the closed World War II memorial on Wednesday, past a blockade erected because of the government shutdown.

So, I guess if you're going to avert your gaze, and kinda not notice that the National Park Service [washingtontimes.com] has gone full Gestapo.
I suppose this is much ado about nothing, unless it were a Republican administration.

So wait a minute, where is the story that there were veterans who were unable to visit the Memorial because of the shutdown.

Don't be slippery, Smitty, just point us to the story where there were any veterans who went to DC and then didn't get to see their memorial because of Obama, or the Park Service or anything else.

You made a statement about the veterans "dropping dead" and I'm sorry, but it's not the case. The very first group of veterans who came to the memorial after the shutdown found barricades, mo

"Can you program?" "Well, I'm literate, if that's what you mean!"
