More that the site is regarded by non-Catholics and liberal Catholics as an unreliable source.
But I agree. Nothing in this particular article should offend people for being Catholic. But I disagree there isn't a very sarcastic portrayal of a religious angle in place, it's only that religion is secular progressive.
