Uh oh... here we go again

  • It's flantastic.

    Can't click on comment links at all anymore (they all have onclick handlers that stop the browser from going to the link) but clicking anywhere in a comment no longer opens the parent comment.

    One-for-one... If they keep this up, the next release might actually be less broken!

      Just be glad you're not using IE6. Half of the text is obscured by other text, all the titles are missing on the front page. I'll have to just shut it down until I get home, it seemed all right there this morning.

      I haven't had any problem with any of it at home, maybe they're only testing the code on FF in Linux? Unuseable here at work. And I'm sitting on 15 unused mod points, too.

      • They probably should remove the "I" from IE6.. It's just not useful for the internet anymore, unless you use it for ftp...

        Seamonkey also doesn't doesn't render very well when you use the zoom. Boxes cover up the text, which also runs off the edge... Direct links to journals still seem to be designed strictly for mobiles, whereas from the root journal page they come up normally. Eh, I'll try to post workarounds as I come up with them.. Right now the most common and useful one is to right-click on links and

          I'm using my TV as a monitor at home, and since it's across the room I have it zoomed, especially on sites that insist on six point type (damned kids, my eyesight is very good, but most people my age don't have such good eyes).

          Even Google is fucking up design-wise. The new design with the gray on black links at the top, what dimwitted nineteen year old thought that one up? It's like these stupid kids think nobody over 40 uses the internet. Hell, my 83 year old mother is on the net these days!
