I have a batch of my own mod points, and I'm planning to spend some on skinfaxi [slashdot.org], a reasonable person who got mod bombed a few days ago. A few more points wouldn't hurt.
Which sucks, because I usually have way too much to do/am too exhausted until Wednesday or Thursday to put 'em to good use.
I would suggest reading the current RIAA [slashdot.org] and Hot Coffee [slashdot.org] articles, and modding down the first five idiots repeating the same old "redundant," "offtopics" arguments against/in defense of either industry.

You can also moderate posts in journals, though I would guess that you can't moderate in your own.
You could save journal reading up till you've got points to spare.
