Here's my first post

The stripping of citizenship for dual nationals will be popular as all heck, and its popularity has nothing to do with the current round of terrorism. Look how long it took to remove the citizenship of former Nazis hiding under new identities.

Ususally someone screams "Godwin" within minutes ... strange. Must be the topic bringing out the worst in people.

80 years on, and the old savagery is back. Well, it never really left. People are the same ignorant/angry mob they always have been. Animals fighting over the carcass. Oh well, if we prove anything, it's that monkeys can and do write Shakespeare.

I think it never left, because it has a biological basis. People are hard-wired not to like/trust strangers.

Precisely. Everything we do and feel has biological basis. We are biology. The primitive brain still rules. When the body dies, the mind evaporates. Don't believe any of that 'dualism' nonsense. On the other hand, it is possible that a 'spirit' can emerge from highly evolved biology, but that's all up for speculation also.
