spun's Journal: Wii for my birthday!

It's my birthday and everyone pooled their money and got me a Wii! I told them not to bother, they'd never find one, but they did, after much searching and calling and running about. First thing I'm getting is a Wi-Fi USB connector.

Now I need to figure out what games to get. I'd like to get some good multi player games that my wife, a non-gamer, might like. She like puzzle, rhythm, and party games. I'd also like some good games for me, on consoles I like action (side scroller, platform, etc.) and RPG games.

Any ideas?

I'll check that out. Is that "Rayman's Raving Rabbids II?" It gets a score of 68 on Metacritic, the first one gets a 76, so I think I may try the first one first. I wonder if the first one has been discounted or hit the second hand market yet? I have a 16:9 TV, but you can set the Wii back to regular aspect ratio, right?

That sounds perfect. The wife likes silly. I think I'll get either Super Mario Galaxy or Legend of Zelda, or both, for me.

I'm a cap with cap rising, but almost all the rest of my planets are in scorpio. Which explains the rest.

I've been really into Postal Service [postalservicemusic.net] recently. As far as Nordic bands go, I like Gus Gus [gusgus.com], from Iceland.

It's fun, it's a puzzle game, it has action, so a little bit of everything. Supposedly the best game to come out on the wii yet. Don't know if it does multiplayer though.
