Faith Based Homeland Security

  • Where the Shoguns in the 1100s and 1200s depended upon the original Kamakazi- a devine hurricane sent by the gods- to protect them from the rampaging Mongolian Empire that was quickly taking over Eurasia (it actually worked to- the Kahns sent not one, but TWO armadas to conquor Nippon, both sunk by non-seasonal hurricanes). It's my favorite example of prayer in a non-Christian religion (in this case State Shintoism) working to produce a real-world, unpredictable event.

Quite possibly- though I think I'd rather depend on Al Gore's Chips of Self Destruction (there was a rumor back in 1996 that the reason the Clinton/Gore Administration gave China Most Favored Trading Nation status was to slip GPS chips into their factories- GPS chips that had a devide by zero error on the Prime Meridian and International Date Lines) since they poached the tech from the Pakistanis, who got it from

  • Every example in the article was some Christian (as in follows Christ) religion complaining. How much do you want to bet that non-Christian faith based organizations will have mounds of paperwork to go through to get funds.

I can't exactly see DHS giving a few millions dollars to an organization named "Islamist's Rescue Relief Society" no matter what the cause.

Which leads into my main problem with all of these people who cry for more religion in our government. What they really mean is, more CHRISTIAN base
