It's not at all clear if there's any way of enforcement of this. As in, who can do what when a student says... "Bugger off. I am keeping and using my phone."

Rust touts its amazing memory safe etc, but then it appears that to do much of anything (especially replicate existing non-rust code functionality) then rust reaches for allowing "unsafe" code. So, what was the point?

Rust was supposed to be epic because it was memory safe. But now it appears that rust code needs to do "unsafe" stuff to replace the "unsafe" stuff.

Is the 5% that might have succeeded or at least didn't fail too badly, is that enough to justify the expense? That being said, if AI keeps failing maybe electricity prices for regular folk might come down.
