The main reason most of these tech CEOS (except Elon) became GOP supporters is they got butt hurt that people started to push for accountibility for the clear harms from their product instead of being praised as genuis wunderkinds. So much of this is the fragile male ego of 7 dudes.
All these Silcon Valley tech bros read speculative fiction distopias and all thought "that's cool!" instead of getting the message that this stuff is a terrible outcome for basically everyone... even the rich eventually lose.
The US goverment actually imposed austerity after the stock market crash... which made it worse.

Well, Windows 11 is just a marketing name. It's the same codebase and same version numbers. The difference was almost entirely to get OEMs to ship with working TPMs instead of only shipping them in "for business" lines.
Before W11, you could get a good GPU or a TPM, not both.
Linux software is intuitive to people who write software and routinely use CLI.
In other words, it is not intuitive to anyone, but matches developer expectations.
bitlocker is crap to use with a TPM. Before Windows 11, OEMs only offerred laptops with TPM+garbage GPU -or- good GPU no TPM. It forced them to sell TPM+good GPU.
"Supply-side economics" worked exactly as intended: it made a few people wealthy and crippled the regulatory power of the State. That's all it ever did.
Some "true-believer" economics at the Chicago school thought it was real, but the people in power used them too.
I could buy that argument if there was anything about this IPO that included a single path of accountability for his outrageous claims. Public shares have zero voting control that matters. All parties have agreed to mandatory private arbitration that elimanates class action suits. He gets all the benefits of public capital with zero public control.
