The main reason most of these tech CEOS (except Elon) became GOP supporters is they got butt hurt that people started to push for accountibility for the clear harms from their product instead of being praised as genuis wunderkinds. So much of this is the fragile male ego of 7 dudes.

All these Silcon Valley tech bros read speculative fiction distopias and all thought "that's cool!" instead of getting the message that this stuff is a terrible outcome for basically everyone... even the rich eventually lose.

The US goverment actually imposed austerity after the stock market crash... which made it worse. The problem is not deficit spending in economic downturns. It's slashing corporate taxes, estate tax, and wars even in good times that's landed us in this place.

Well, Windows 11 is just a marketing name. It's the same codebase and same version numbers. The difference was almost entirely to get OEMs to ship with working TPMs instead of only shipping them in "for business" lines. Before W11, you could get a good GPU or a TPM, not both.

Linux software is intuitive to people who write software and routinely use CLI. In other words, it is not intuitive to anyone, but matches developer expectations.
