So I guess you wrote that with a straight face.

This is not a serious argument. Using nuclear energey, or lack thereof, was never the issue with the move away from fossil fuels. It was the persistent use of fossil fuels (and denial of climate change) that created the situation.

As others have pointed out, nuclear power is not a quick fix and creates problems of its own. For example what do you do with nuclear waste.

There is no quick fix.

What? Look if we are going to have a debate over nuclear brinkmanship lets stick to the facts. Russia was responding to the West's change in tactics by striking inside Russia. The United States was escalating the conflict and Russia responded. It should also be pointed out that some U.S. politicians voiced their support for using nuclear weapons against Russia.

So, yes Biden pushed the U.S. closer to nuclear war with Russia.

Whether or not Trump pulls the U.S. back, remains to be seen.

Isn't there a technology embargo on China and thus NVIDIA cannot sell chips to China. So even if China wanted to use NVIDIA chips, they can't. And that's a good thing since they will be forced to develop their own chips and put NVIDIA out of business.

NVIDIA, you may want to start wooing those gamers you dumped.

Comment Re:Is this article about US or European regulation (Score 1) 226

It is? Let's differentiate between fuels sources of the appliance and location in the US. Here in the North East, many fixed appliances (Hot Water Tank, Dryer, Furnace, Stove) use natural gas. The electrical requirement for these appliances would be 120 volts not 240 volts. Thus, the outlets these appliances would be plugged into would be 120 volts. Also, in the garages of these homes, outlets would also be 120 volts not 240 volts outlets.

Thus it depends.

Perhaps you should have taken this into account before posting. You would have looked less of an ass if you did.

What kind of bullshit is this. What the fuck do you think Amendments are? To use your words, Amendments "rewrite" the Constitution. The Constitution is a living document, subject to change. These are not commandments written in stone that cannot be changed.

Sounds like a pretty big deal. But hey why worry when you can shove a rectangle in your face.

“The report lays out how social media and video streaming companies harvest an enormous amount of Americans’ personal data and monetize it to the tune of billions of dollars a year,” said FTC Chair Lina M. Khan. “While lucrative for the companies these surveillance practices can endanger people’s privacy, threaten their freedoms, and expose them to a host of harms, from identify theft to stalking. Several firms’ failure to adequately protect kids and teens online is especially troubling. The Report’s findings are timely, particularly as state and federal policymakers consider legislation to protect people from abusive data practices.” https://www.ftc.gov/news-event...
