Your car is not a flipping home computer. Cameras, sensors, "infotainment" systems, huge tablet screens. All it does it drives up the price of the vehicle, not to mention the repair costs! Just bumping into another vehicle these days is a multi-thousand dollar repair, given all the sensors & cameras in vehicles today. malfunctioning phone-as-a-key functionality, a useless keyfob, a keycard that rarely worked quickly, constant phone connection issues, infotainment glitches and error messages.

Not all of the problem is environmentalist, but, we can't dig here, we can't drill there so we have to use outside sources for the things we need. Couple that with the greedy CEO/stockholders that want huge returns on their investments plus higher wages, move all of the jobs overseas.

Kids from the 80's to the 2020 era were pretty much all told you "have to have a four year college degree". They and/or their families rack up thousands of dollars in debt, for a degree that won't pay enough for them to move out of their parent's house. Too many liberal art degrees + not enough positions open to fill those degrees = low employment. But, on the other side, I see 2 year tech colleges hiring people by the time they graduate, and I see some manufacturing type places with "now hiring/hiring bonuses" signs.

Closing down multiple coal fired water plants, nuclear plants has A LOT to do with it. Trying to rely on wind/solar WILL NOT WORK.

I've used it for YEARS. First thing I would do after setting up a new android phone was to install Nova Launcher Prime. Kind of figured it would go away since they were bought out. And, the app on the play store hasn't been updated since May 2024. Right now I'm trying the MS Launcher which is kind of close to Nova. I'm HOPING it gets released as open source and someone else picks it up.

If I were a tourist, thinking about visiting a "major U.S. city tourist area" I don't think I would either. Crime is UP in a lot of cities. Why bother? Most countries have beautiful areas to vacation and visit anyway. Same for America. Lots of places to visit. Why spend the $$$$ to go to another country when there are beautiful areas here you can see and visit, not to mention keeping your money at home.

More nuclear power, less "non reliable" solar/wind power. I have no problem with solar/wind, but nuclear is much better and, unlike wind/solar, when you need to generate MORE power you can crank up the generator to create more power.

I was born in the 50's. I remember everyone in the early-mid 70's saying we were entering another ice age and we were all doomed! Then in the 90's Algore came along with the global warming nonsense. Around 2008/9 the warming came down and they had to rename it "climate change". To make it even more dramatic to the UNeducated, they renamed it climate emergency. It's all hogwash and always has been. They start with kids, drumming it into their heads that man is going to destroy the climate. By the time they are adults, they are born & bread to believe it.
