Sort of. Alberta is definitely a 'Red' or conservative province, but the conservative colours here are blue. Ontario (which together with Quebec control pretty much the entire country) are 'Blue' or the liberal voting provinces but Liberals are red in colour. Canada is a little more unique in that we have multiple parties though. We have the NDP which is a left-leaning party, and there's the Bloc Quebecois but I never know anything about them because they'r

Also, if the Liberals implode the way the post-Mulroney Conservatives did, that leaves a lot of seats for the NDP and the Conservatives to split up (the last election was marked by a lot of scare tactics on the part of the Liberals - along the lines that if you voted NDP, you were helping elect the COnservatives. People won't buy
