I don't think Visual Studio has native support for the Rust language yet.
Microsoft might claim its a "Tier 1" language, but that is not really true when the Microsoft "Tier 1" programming IDE doesn't support it.

It would be good to find out if the engineers are now getting a higher salary after Ford went grovelling to them for their expertise. I'm sure the engineers won't be allowed to directly say anything. I don't think so.

ReactOS developers should admit defeat and put their energies into improving Wine. That is the only realistic way those developers can make Windows software run on an open source operating system.

The Zip drive never had a floppy drive connector. It couldn't replace floppy drive because BIOS and Operating Systems assumed floppies were a fixed size such as 2 sides * 80 tracks * 18 sectors. If primitive floppy drive was half decent the hardware should have detected the drive parameters and made values visible to the computer BIOS / OS.

I believe NAT does not exist in IPv6. Again, another stupid decision. NAT is good for ISP customers because it gives some privacy, as they all use the same public IP.

According to Wikipedia, the HEVC H.265 standard was published in 2013.
Patents only last for 20yrs so I believe HEVC will be royalty free in 2034.
And obviously all other similar codecs (AV1) will be safe in 2034.

One idea to reduce costs is use BitTorrent for distribution of the packages. Web site hosts only a torrent file. Everyone has to download via the torrent file. If nobody is seeding.... well then bad luck. If somebody wants a URL for the package manager, they will be required to download from torrent and set up their own local mirror.

It's obvious what the EU should do. Buy the Zoom company and then release Zoom as open source.
