Even Docker desktop is useless. Just install docker directly in Linux/WSL

I work in the webdev/dev-ops and security side.
And windows is completely useless in this sector. All the languages and tools are Linux/Unix based.

I just wrote the instructions for that a month ago for a client.
Just a list of instructions to install Docker on the cli in WSL.

Devs are expected to be able to follow instructions and use the commandline

I would not trust microsoft to not try to change how containers are supposed to run.
To try to make containers made on WSL incompatible with Docker.

The only reason they made that is to not loose the entire dev and hosting market to Linux

I do actually. No native version of the games I play.
But that is for me the only usecase.

Actually that melting of the poles is causing that. It disrupts the warm water flow from the equator.

Not so easy but still possible with the right tools.
Its more that you aren't allowed to do it yourself with those AC-units. You need specific certifications to fill them.

The issue is not that Debian has unpatched versions. They backport security updates so it is completely safe.
But a lot of those scanners don't understand this and just see version x.xx.xx.x which is under the latest stable
