Journal the100rabh's Journal: Mr Jones proves once again...Windows is more secure 1
Strategy Director in the Microsoft Security Technology Unit, Mr Jeff Jones once again comes up with the vulnerability list. According to him Windows is the most secure of the lot. Wait a minute do number of fixed vulnerability tell that a particular OS is more secure? I dont know what other slashdotters think.
Just how do you calculate the most secure OS? (Score:1)
Perhaps by the amount of time between disclosure of a flaw and the time it is patched - to their credit Microsoft have come a long way with their response on such things.
Or how about measuring the scale of an attack utilising an exploit? When was the last time you saw a bunch of Ubuntu zombies marching down the proverbial street?
