Journal Journal: Which is the best site for Photo Blogging

I had been planning to start a photo-blog for some time now. I tried searching all over the net. But sadly I could not find something really easy to handle. I just want that image be uploaded without much hassle and be able to add some comments to the post. But sadly each service has its own drawbacks. I hope some slashdoters can help me in this. Happy discussing.(please dont comment on my English...Yes I am not an Englishman)

Journal Journal: Robot for India's moon mission by IIT Kanpur 152

ISRO, Indian Space Research Organization, is planning to send a robot for its mission to moon.. It is probably going to be made by students and profs of IIT-Kanpur(For those who dont know, its Indian equivalent for MIT).

The two-legged robot, fitted with sophisticated sensors and high-resolution cameras, is capable of recording information and images using laser beams. It can also detect the distance of a hindrance, enter a small crater, bring surface samples and return high resolution images to the lunar vehicle. So it seems is pretty good. Although it needs some more sophistication the cost of it is less than $50,000. Now that a penny infront of the obscene amounts of money NASA spends every day. Probably that can be saved to make this world a whole lot better. Way to go ISRO.

Update: I thought people would discuss about how this would fail or happen. Rather sad to see the situation here

Journal Journal: Orkut in pact with Indian Cops 88

The Economic Times reports that Orkut has signed a pact with Indian Cyber Crime Cell. Now they are going to give the IP Address of any 'defamatory or inflammatory content' provider. Isn't it different from China, where you can go straight to hell for this kind of an action. But in India there is some law & order, with some judges doing their job right. Convince the judge and you are out of the mess. I think its very much required with the kind of abuses going around and sick people cloning others profiles and make a mess for online freedom. The key thing is 'Use, but do not Abuse'.

Big question is that...If in India then Why not US. Probably Google needs to answer a lot of question there.

Journal Journal: Poisoned colas: Pesticide content is now deadlier

CNN IBN has reported that New tests have found that eleven soft drink brands, which in 2003 were found to contain pesticide residues, still contain a dangerous level of toxins, said the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) on Wednesday. The CSE's report in 2003 had led to a joint Parliamentary probe into the matter, and on Wednesday the NGO claimed the soft drinks are still not clean. At a press conference in Delhi, the NGO said it had conducted tests on 57 samples of 11 soft drink brands for pesticides.
