Or, alternatively, you are pitting an amateur fraudster against the full might of the American Bankers Association. But the ABA isn't willing to put in the necessary resources.

Comment a factor of 241 million? I doubt it. (Score 2) 35

The article says: "Adding more qubits improves a quantum computer's power exponentially, meaning the new machine is 241 million times more powerful than the 2019 machine"

They added 17 qubits. That should increase the power by a factor of 2^17 = 131,072 (which is indeed exponential). Instead they used the calculation e^17 = 24,154,952. They read the first three digits as 241 but then were off by a factor of 10. So they had two errors and came up with a number which is more than a factor of 1,000 too large.

I heard a really cool approximation: Take the first three odd digits and repeat each one twice: 113355. Then take the second half divided by the first half: 355/113. This comes out to Pi to within one part in 10 million! It also turns out that 355/113 is what is called in mathematics a convergent of the continued fraction of Pi and is therefore a "best in its class" approximation of Pi see here.

I think the 10 trillion is for FOB. I am guessing it comes out to a negative number CIF

In CIF, the seller is responsible for transporting goods to the nearest port, loading the goods on the ship and paying freight for the goods to be delivered to a port chosen by the buyer. In FOB trading, the seller is only responsible for taking the goods to the nearest port on his or her end

It's not as simple as you think. Building the lunar lander is a major achievement. Indeed, google offered a $30,000,000 prize for the lunar lander part even after taking into account the existence of commercial launch systems. See: https://lunar.xprize.org/prize.... The Israeli team missed the deadline, but, if their lander succeeds, will have achieved the goal.
