The only scientists allowed to speak in any public forum that most were hearing from aligned with "the message" and any dissenting views, study's or opinions were silenced and ridiculed. fast forward to current day and chinks in the armor start leaking inconvenient truths. If all opinions were heard, less mistrust would have fostered. 6 out of 5 scientists said that "vaccines stop covid transmission," but it wasn't true.
