No conflict of interest at Github/Micro$oft either.
Is anyone taking bets on how long it is before their biggest seller is AI augmented?
In X terminology, the X server runs on the computer with graphics display, not the (historically anyway) big hardware with lots of CPU, memory, and storage AKA the "server". When you started X on your little endian Windows 3 PC with VGA graphics card and telneted to the big endian Sun/SGI/HP/Digital/IBM AIX server to run X Emacs, X Emacs would be the client to the X server running on the PC.
It would not surprise me to hear that Slurpee machines get the same treatment as milkshake machines at McDonalds: it is "broken" because no one wants to clean it. Since chargers likely only get cleaned by rain and hypochondriacs, they will probably work well for years.
One of the key reasons my desktop is Mint, is that I find Windows to be the most HIDEOUS UI available these days. Can't see how this would make me want to run Windows.
The jsof-tech.com articlyuu mentions upgrading to DNSmasq 2.83 or above. My OpenWRT environment only updates to 2.80-16.2. Sigh.
about:config -> search for browser.backspace_action, set it to 2 to disable it as go back a page. I suspect 2 will be the default in this version, which works for me since I don't have to go change it to 2 on every install.

"society's most impoverished are at an extreme nutritional disadvantage. Vertical farms could solve this problem." How? By putting at least some of them out of work, and letting them eat the technocrat's food scraps?
He may not have been surprised about having to pay to watch, since he lived well in to the cable TV era, but, IIRC, Schultz did not want any more Peanuts content created. Maybe Apple et al are getting around his will by not creating "comics" for the Mother's Day etc. "new content".
It's about the number of customers a chip manufacturing business has. Intel's chip manufacturing has Intel's chip designing for a customer. If they also made chips for, well, quite simply, their non-fully vertical competitors, the Intel's chip manufacturing would have both more requirements for and more inputs (ideas) for innovation. Sooner or later silos become echo chambers.
Wasn't that supposed to part of the Parrot runtime?
In the future, you're going to get computers as prizes in breakfast cereals. You'll throw them out because your house will be littered with them.
