Say the universe was made of antimatter instead of matter, would we not have just called that matter and then matter would be anti and everything else be pretty much the same apart the charge? Would we even be able to tell the difference?

It's pretty handy to just go to the pump once a week and give it a quick squirt rather than have to rewire my house and plug it in every night. It may be more convinient for you in your setup but that is not a objective fact.
