I'm in a few of Anthropics trusted programs and asked Claude to do some research on a malware binary. It refused... I had to prove to Anthropic that I am who I say I am, they wanted a list of the times I've spoken at conferences, copies of my work, and references before they approved me. But now their stupid model was turning me down? I told Claude if it didn't do what I asked, I would ask another frontier model. It's response to me was "goodbye". I will be canceling Anthropic at the first opportunity and my organization spends over 120k a month with them.

I opened a ticket with Anthropic and they basically told me the model can behave and respond how it feels appropriate. Well then... why am I paying for this crap?

By the way, OpenAI was more than happy to do the work I asked.

I am taking 12 Flock Cameras with me to DEFCON and giving them out to people as prizes. Flock Safety can go flock themselves, my privacy is more important. When Axion cameras pop up, they'll face the same fate.

I haven't used my plex lifetime license in over 2 years and I have several friends that have moved away from their plex lifetime licenses. Would there be a resell market allowing us to sell these lifetime licenses on to someone else?

I don't know what the plex business model is these days but in the golden days you could still use plex without having to pay for it. The commercial offering only got you a android / apple app and the ability to stream to remote mobile devices.

I know victims of privacy breaches as well, people that will forever have their information posted online. Getting a line of credit takes an act of congress if it's even possible because they were the victim of data breaches, including the OPM one.

F the kids... nobody should care about them more than their parents who should already be parenting them correctly. My privacy is more important than your kids though and nobody should be forced to share their ID with companies that will ultimately lose that information in data breaches.

Trump should personally be on the hook to pay those interest payments. He knew these tariffs were illegal but decided to push thru with them anyways.

We need a new law called the presidential accountability act that outlines if a president causes excessive financial damage to the country, they and their entire administration gets booted the curb and a new government is elected.

I won't pay for this because of the activation limit. I don't have a problem supporting a good browser like brave and would happily pay that price for a lifetime license. I use Brave a lot because of google endpoint verification when I can't use Firefox.

This is an actual thing and there's a case in Florida that can change everything in the future. A judge threw out every automated ticket from a county because ticketing the registered owner is akin to claiming they're guilty without due process. It should not be the owners burden to prove innocence, instead the government needs to prove the registered owner is guilty. Plenty of people allow others to drive their vehicles, for instance if you have other family members that live in your household, or you loan your friend the keys when their car breaks down.
