Thoughts (Score 1)

Most geeks I know have a knee jerk tendency to speak like/think they are liberals. (They think they like Micheal Moore and that sort of thing.) But if you talk calmly with them about things you can lead them to realize they are actually liberetarians or maybe even real conservatives! The split you reffer to is common among urban conservatives. The thing is to find out what your convictions are, not what someone else thinks they should be. Then comes the politics. Politics to me is choosing your allies and battles to further your convitions. Semper Fi!
