    Slashdot added this feature after goatse became popular several years ago. It was a very gross precursor to being Rickrolled.

      I managed to figure it out right after I posted this.
      BTW, I put it there (was surprised at the 'save as code' option) mainly to use as a template to use. The first time I tried to save the journal post, it worked as designed, and was just a link-no code, then found the 'save as code' option and got what I wanted-a tested template. I've wanted to link to URL's that were too long for the /. filters, and this would be a cool way around that.
