Not really.
We have plenty of contact with Covid in NZ unfortunately. Many repatriation flights from US and other countries to NZ - with people who do have the virus being caught in the quarantine facilities. They are using hotels in NZ for quarantine - nice for those in quarantine, helps the economy/hotel owners stay in business but its not as secure as using say an army base or some remote location.
We also have flight crews, military personal that self isolate - they could have picked up an sub-clinical infection and spread it to someone at a cafe, or supermarket doesn't mean its been spreading for months. If there had been an infection for that long it would be quite a large cluster by now and would have been detected in sewage samples or other random testing that is also occurring.
