Submission + - Obama Order Sped Up Wave of Cyberattacks Against Iran with Stuxnet (

rodgster writes: "Mr. Obama decided to accelerate the attacks — begun in the Bush administration and code-named Olympic Games — even after an element of the program accidentally became public in the summer of 2010 because of a programming error that allowed it to escape Iran’s Natanz plant and sent it around the world on the Internet. Computer security experts who began studying the worm, which had been developed by the United States and Israel, gave it a name: Stuxnet."

In reality, the Bill of Rights ceased to exist shortly after 9/11. However I don't remember any Declaration of War from congress. 10 years later (endless, undeclared, off budget wars), now the government doesn't even "pretend" the Bill of Rights or the Constitution even exist anymore. There is no Freedom of the Press (all "owned"). There is No Free Speech. With all the unconstitutional surveillance of all Americans telephone, email and internet there is no longer any protection from unreasonable search and seizure. Secret courts, secret commissions, secret orders, secret interpretations, secret lists, secret decisions to kill US citizens, etc. all of this makes me want to throw up.

"Papers please" to travel and fondle or computerized strip searches without cause or reasonable belief (even elderly and children) is clearly in my mind not only stupid but also unconstitutional. WTF! Looking at essentially nude picture and fondling children is OK so long as you are wearing a TSA uniform and working in an airport (sometimes bus or train terminal, etc), everywhere else it is sex crime. What have these people done to my country! Baggage handlers and security can easily steal from checked baggage. This is nothing more than "security theater" and an enormous waste of resources and money.

I am more afraid of my government than I am of terrorists.

"We the People" does not include faceless corporations who are free from prosecution for their misdeeds and corruption of our elected leaders. Now all 3 branches of the government have been thoroughly corrupted by greed.

This is nothing short of wholesale subversion of the Constitution or in other words, specifically mentioned in the Constitution, treason.

IMHO. This government no longer functions according to the law of the land (the Constitution) and it is therefore unconstitutional. The only hope to try to fix the current government is to completely remove all financial influence from all forms of government completely and permanently (Constitutional amendment). End the corruption, this is fast becoming a 3rd world country. Please save my/our country.

Personally I think it is too late, and the only solution is another Continental Congress. This one is too broken to fix. Maybe we can learn from our mistakes when we start over.

I DO NOT drive impaired. Yet I choose to Not drive on "DUI enforcement holidays" because I refuse to be cowed into "showing my papers" for the privilege for driving from point A to point B. You must provide identification (at least here in California) which is another "papers please" affront and I grudgingly accept that. But as soon as you try to "exercise your rights" and refuse to tell the police where you are going, what you have doing, what your business is, you will likely be arrested. That my friends is a police state. Try it for yourself some time. If you dare. I'd suggest you have a hidden camera if you do.

This nonsense in FL is just a case of the judge(s) "sucking up OT gravy" like all the police officers.

In my town, most of these "papers please" checkpoints result in very few DUIs and mostly just impounds for license and registration violations, some warrants, etc (mostly "undocumented workers"). It is a "cash cow" for the cities, PD, etc. Saturation patrols have been far more effective in removing impaired drivers from the road.

With Office 2010 MS already has Office Starter edition. You're not supposed to really talk about it and definitely not use it as a selling point. You're also supposed to pre-install it with MS Sec. Essentials, Windows Live, other stuff too. The end user either buys a license from the OEM, a retail or just decides to use the starter edition (Word & Excel "lite editions").

It is 100X more likely to die from smoking

It is 10X more likely to die in a car accident

And 9/11 was a single event. There others happen every year.

By the way, about 500 people a year are hit by lightening

I'm not worried about that either
