Oh it's worse than you think. I had the mis(fortune) to talk to META VR and AR engineers at one point. I was stunned, as they are asking semi-technical questions, to learn they had little to no experience with VR or AR itself. They didn't even use or care about their own products! Further, they had this aura of "I'm too superior ro use VR and AR that's for nerds". It blew me away. The entire group was run by marketing/politics masquerading as basic engineering. Mark was too nice to them, and let them take him for a ride.

My worst investments - in any category - have been equityzen, startengine and these other firms. your investments are highlly illiquid - they plummet in value for no reason, and good luck getting any additional info. I was republican leaning but omg I'm getting so sick of misinformation from people like you and the damage it's doing to this country.

To be honest, these groups have some of the laziest SW developers in the industry. They lack innovation. Don't even use their own SW (dogfood it), and have no idea what users actually want. When someone comes in with real feedback they brush it aside and completely avoid making any changes. This is what happens when someone spends billions and has poor leadership in their group.
