Journal rdewald's Journal: Tuscany: the best pictures. 9

I decided that I would throw together a page of what I think are the best pictures from the the 450+ images I brought back from Tuscany. These aren't my favorites, or the most important, or the most meaningful. They are just the ones I think have the most stand-alone integrity as photographs, or that I find the most interesting. I reserve the right to revise this page.

The best pictures from Tuscany.

Graphic-intensive, not for dial-up connections...

No, not at all, except that I deliberately took it from an angle the reveals what is going on. I'm not afraid of being a tourist. I found it just as funny that I took a picture.
  • polka dot lady pictures.
  • Simply awesome.
  • Love the color in the Ham one.
  • It's excellent, but I like the sunflower even more. Backlit petals look awesome. The light and dark of the green in the leaves goes excellently with the yellow, orange, and brown.

But I'd say what makes the picture so perfect is the top of the flower being cut off and it's up and right of the center. This draws my eyes to the lower left where the green in both corners balances everything. Finally the blured white and tan in the other corners makes a great backdrop.

Most amateurs would center the flower, p
