Please provide us all with your contact details and photo. Your home address would be nice too. I'd like to post how stupid you are on some social media sites for making such a dumb comment. I'd also like to make fun of your clear mental disability. Don't worry, if you give me your social accounts too, I'll block you specifically from being able to see it.

If you don't want to, then why not??? Why would any of that bother you???

I'm pretty sure that you can answer your own question if you think really really really hard.

Every OS comes pre-installed with a browser. So why is Microsoft singled out?

I don't see how Opera can make this argument anymore. People are literally installing Chrome on Windows and use it more than Edge. If it's an unfair advantage, then wouldn't the most widely-used browser on Windows be Edge instead of a 3rd party browser that users download and install separately? And we're not talking about a small difference in market share.

Why should a company offer an OS, and then have a bunch of competitor software included? They aren't blocking 3rd party browsers... There is a reason that Android is free and the cost of the entire Windows operating system is the same price as a few video games.

Dating site? This isn't a dating app. It's women-only app for women to slander and trash their bad dates. They mostly comment and make fun of them. Sure, there are probably some legit women who post sketchy guys who are might be borderline sex offenders, but you don't know because there is so much illegitimate slander.

If all my personal info was hosted by this service and I was slandered, then how are they handling GDPR or CCPA requests to remove my details?

The leak has turned this site into a honeypot for men to avoid these women. A complete backfire.

It's a website. You can use a computer to shop.

Why are you searching for cheap Chinese stuff? If you don't want Chinese stuff then just search for name brand products.

The only difference between shopping at amazon versus a local store, is that Amazon shows you 100 different Chinese options while your local shop has just 1 Chinese option. And it's usually more expensive or the same price.

A muscle massage gun that I previously ordered was listed as 20% off. I looked up my order and I had paid only 30 cents more than the sale price. I don't think I bought mine on a sale.

They just marked up the price 20% and then put on a 20% discount.

Amazon Day and Black Friday sales are all fake. That's my impression.

Ok, but why was he able to stick around for 2 seasons? He is suddenly super busy only after it failed? If Season 2 was a success, do you think he'd still be leaving?

It seems more like he's leaving because the second season failed. He thought that the second game's story would do better in the live action format with a wider audience, but half the audience still clocked out. How many of those will stay for season 3, and what will the aftermath budget be? More like he's running away since he won't be able to fix it in the time required for season 3. I don't think he's even capable of fixing it since he lost his better half.

Maybe they knew that the second season was going to be garbage based on the game reception, and ramped down on funding? Did it cost more to produce season 2?

Druckmann's reason for leaving feels like an excuse. Half the audience clocked out mid-way into season 2. How many of those will remain for season 3? I don't think "production quality" is to blame even if you think it was poorer.

It failed for the same reason that people hated the second game. And I think he doesn't want his named tarnished further by this series since he already f**ked it up and there's no way to fix it. They thought that the live action adaptation would be more accepted than the game's sequel, but it obviously wasn't. Not sure why they thought it would without changing the reasons that it failed. Seems like he's running away. If it did exceptionally well then I doubt he'd be leaving.

Comment Re:That's just layoffs (Score 1) 106

I doubt it. These are people who moved away after Amazon started letting people temporarily work from home. They kept their job and worked remote. Amazon then forced people to start returning to the office.

Until now, these people have been able to go to small "satellite" locations instead. Amazon is beginning to close these and is now telling people that they must relocate to actual offices or resign. If you read the article then you would know.

So yes you can absolutely resign. But it will be difficult to get employment benefits. You resigned because you don't want to go back to your designated office. YOU moved away. It is not Amazon's fault that you don't want to move back after they mandated office time. If you decide to quit, well, isn't that on you?

You think the government should force you to hire someone and keep them employed???? That's pretty crazy.

The US healthcare system isn't broken. It's just expensive. 15% of my income goes into healthcare insurance and 33% goes into taxes. Only the lower class have bad healthcare because they cannot afford insurance. They prefer to have iPhones, nice TVs, video games, nicer cars, etc.. Then there are people who are below poverty which can barely afford food or rent. These people cannot afford healthcare at all and are forced to go to free clinics that have limited subsidies by the government. Not many doctors want to go through 8-12 years of medical school and then get paid poorly by offering free or cheap healthcare.

Comment Re:have you no employment rights? (Score 1) 106

You can refuse to resign. They will then likely fire you. The government does not force employers to hire people and keep them employed.

If you are fired or lose your job from layoffs then you may file for unemployment benefits. You then get a much lower income while you look for a new job. However, many people treat this as a low-paid vacation since the benefits can last for 6+ months. If you quit, then you generally cannot get these benefits.

Getting unemployment after being fired is more difficult and scrutinized than being laid off. So it will still be difficult to get them.
