Journal nizo's Journal: Solace for those who have bad days 8

Henceforth I will reconsider what I would call a bad day after watching this (should be safe work). Sadly I can't find my tape of the show as aired on tv (the tv clip was better, if anyone has it let me know), but this little animation gives you an idea of someone who really has had a bad day. Yes indeed dear readers this is a clip of a Mexican zoo worker who was unfortunate enough to be standing behind an elephant when it backed up and started to sit down, ramming said worker's head up his butt. No matter how bad my day may get, I can truthfully say that it isn't as bad as having my head shoved up the backside of an elephant. I can't imagine that the elephant was really pleased either.

Solace for those who have bad days

  • May I inquire as to why the zoo worker was sitting directly behind the elephant in the first place?

I wouldn't sit or stand directly behind a horse, it would seem the same rules should apply (by several tons more) to an Elephant, no?

    • Well at least in the tv video it looked like he was sweeping/shovelling behind the elephant at the time. I am guessing it is a lesson he will never ever forget. I am wondering if he suffered any back damage after this happened?
  • I can't stop laughing out loud and I don't have my own office!!! You bastard. ;)
    • I can't imagine that the elephant was really pleased either.

I just realized something; if the elephant DID like it, no person would ever be able to safely enter the cage with it again. Ack.

      • So, a zookeeper's head is the comparative size of a gerbil?

"Why did you name this elephant Hugh Grant?"
        "Just sweep up the mess."
        "Why are you taping this?"
"Do you want the job, or not!"
        "O.K." ...

This is one of my grosser moments.

  • You know, this message came at exactly the right moment. I was completely giving up on laughing about anything today then I saw that.

    Poor guy!

  • a few years back. I always figured that it was fake because of the way that the man just keeps standing after being sit upon. One would think that with all of that weight on him would cause him to collapse. And I also think that the elephant would notice something was up stand back up.
  • As teenager I have lots of bad days, but I've never had one this bad. Elephants should really beep and flash lights when backing up, like trucks do. They're quite as heavy.

Any given program, when running, is obsolete.
