They have a video movie collection, called Strangerhood, which is linked from EA's Sims2 community forum, and their latest submission had the typical Lost floating word effect and similar disjointed non-linear flashbacks that don't quite make sense.
They also have them at the hatch, which is labelled with 123-456-789-0 as the secret mystical number.
Kind of funny, that.
think it's ea2sims.com but it's on my home laptop, not here at work (first day back, been sick for a few days)
I keep hoping someone will release something (Sims is probably the closest thing I can think of) that would allow people to essentially make their own movies. Just make it easy for people to create new items/clothes/backgrounds. Oh and it would have to be easy to use and setup shots and have some kind of editor. There has to be something like this (not talking a fullblown 3d program like Lightwave; that is waaaaay to hard for the average Joe to use). I should poke around I am sur
Wait, maybe Sims 2 will do what I am talking about [ea.com]. Dang you are on to something here; it makes me want to put Windows back on my machine at home now:-)
sigh. we lost a couple sims when installing university. Not a lot, just 2 of them. But not their house. I figure I don't have too much invested in non-standard characters/houses just yet. I did build the "Fjord!" community, but it doesn't really have much in it. I just got around to creating families to live in my wacked-out houses. (I built one that's very "Modern".. three large rectangles. one on top of the other 2.)
I enjoy playing the sims 2 when I need some mental down-time, but sometimes yelling "STOP T
If my Sims could hear the voice of their omniscient god, it would say "Stop playing kicky ball, dumbasses". Other than that, I don't really care. I had one sim who would clean up dishes even if I had her going to bed. And she'd pass out, in the middle of the kitchen, with dishes next to her.
I had one sim who NEVER wanted to do homework. Fun-meter full, everything else in the green, but I'd the the foot-stomp and the arm-wave. "I don't want to do that right now!"
Picture me watching it, leaning closer trying to see it better and cranking up my headphone volume. Thankfully I wasn't eating while I was watching it....
Yeah, nothing like a whole body orafice clensing experience to start your day:-) I am tempted to show it to the SO, because I just know she will scream....
