Nice ignorance.
In my adopted country, the names Aleksi and Alexi are common. My son, born a few years before Amazon's monster, is called Alexi.
He has an Echo in his room - we changed the wake word to "computer".
He's never been teased or anything - no big deal at all. We just had a few laughs with him about it.

Th word I was looking for was "Spanish", not Hispanic or Latin American.
The point is that speaking a language does NOT define one's nationality.
Most of my (mother-tongue) Swedish speaking friends here in Finland, would without a doubt call themselves Finnish. The exceptions are those that come from Sweden. Pretty sure that if Linus was my friend, he would be be in the non-exceptions.
Finland has 2 official languages.

not a copter type "drone" that we think of now

How is this NOT a drone, based on accepted definitions like "any unmanned aircraft or ship that is guided remotely"?

Why is it that everything that flies now and doesn't have a pilot is called a drone and is a major new concern, even if it's been around for decades?

Because every irresponsible kid on the block has one now.

What I want is radar or sonar with a HUD on my windshield that shows me a 2D representation of everything around me relative to my location. If there's a kid behind the car, it would show up as a blob behind the vehicle. If there's a car in your blind spot, it would show up as a blob off the back corner of your car. And so on. Such a system, unlike a camera, would make normal driving safer instead of just focusing on a single (and relatively rare) aspect of driving. The only hard part is deciding what is ground clutter and what is something important.
